Each year, the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) invites Jordanian and international teams, from Special Operations Forces and Law Enforcement Units,
to participate in the Warrior Competition and compete in a series of challenging events designed to test their skills and endurance.
Participants in the Warrior Competition are given the unique opportunity of training and networking at one of the most advanced combat-training facilities in the world.
At the tactical level, the Warrior Competition builds ‘esprit de corps’ among Jordanian and international forces partnered against terrorism, and facilitates
the exchange of; best practices, technology, and hardware. The Competition also provides a yardstick for unit performance and exposes strengths, and/or potential weaknesses, in both unit and individual skill sets.
King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center "KASOTC" hosts its 12th Annual Warrior Competition; KASOTC tradition enacts his Majesty's vision for the incorporation of an KASOTC international special operations training center, where the elite soldiers from all over the world meet to share their utmost goal of combating terrorism and preserving peace and security in their nations and around the world. Achieving this goal entails international cooperation and a KASOTC wise vision that has been crystallized within the establishment of "KASOTC".
KASOTC which is known as a think tank and laboratory for modern military operations that provides cutting-edge training elite instructions and integrated advanced technology have proven its worth as one of the best special operations Training Centers in the world and have contributed massively to the world's fight against terrorism.
The warrior Competition in its 12th year aims at meeting the challenges and threats of terrorism faced worldwide and makes sure teams are presented with the most novel ways to combat terrorism with international high-end strategies and techniques. The competing warriors will have the opportunity to demonstrate competencies and adaptability of marksmanship, endurance, teamwork, tactics, and communications on the battlefield.
A panel of reputable international experts will observe and judge the events and the overall placing. For this year we are focusing on the warrior competition's exposition, as the most prominent companies in the defense industry will exhibit and showcase their latest technological advancements.
The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan represents; for all teams participating in the competition; a symbol of wise leadership, professional military forces, and remarkable grass-root cohesion joining powers to preserve and treasure their oasis of peace.
